Wenning’s Wedding Tip Wednesday

A Wedding trend that has become extremely popular lately is having a midnight lunch towards the end of your reception. By the end of the evening, your guests are probably exhausted from having a great time celebrating and dancing with you all day. Not to mention drinking. Consider giving your guests something to help revive them and get rid of those drunk munchies. Also known as drunchies!

After about 3-4 hours of dancing and an open bar since dinner was served, your guests will love you guys even more if you provided them with some late night appetizers or any snack during the final hour of partying! This could also be a time for the newlyweds to grab a bite as well. With all of the activities going on, you may have forgotten to eat or only grabbed a quick, interrupted, bite.

Ideas are endless when it comes to what you can offer your guests for a midnight lunch. You can go with anything from a French fry bar, s’mores bar or even taco bar. There are also some more formal ideas you can choose for your midnight lunch. Mini grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, coffee and donuts or sliders with mini milkshakes are great also. Whichever route you choose, there is bound to be some elegant way of serving up this midnight lunch for your big day. Don’t leave your guests tired and hungry after a day of celebrating one of the most important days of your life!
