Bridal Brochure Breakdown

Need help deciding how to get started with your wedding planning process? These tips can surely help!

Congratulations! You have just survived a bridal show! Now it’s time to get organized and start planning out your wedding.  Now that you are home, you have all these brochures, magazines and pamphlets and you’re probably asking yourself, “What do I do now?”.

The first step is to go through each pamphlet individually and separate them into a “keep” pile and a “garbage” pile. You want to do this as soon as possible so all of the information is still fresh in your mind.  Try to remember which vendors caught your attention and which would be the best options for your wedding.

Now that you have cut the pile of vendors down to your favorite picks, it’s time to see what is remaining and take a closer look at your options. Divide each of the remaining pamphlets into categories such as entertainment, photography, venue, etc.  Try to narrow down each category of vendor down to two or three vendors that you would want to work with to make your wedding day an enjoyable experience for you and your guests!

If you signed up for a vendor at a bridal show, you can expect to get a call from them within a week. This is a perfect time to see what services they can provide at a discounted rate along with their availability for your selected wedding date. If you miss their call, don’t be afraid to call them back, and also be sure to let them know that you are not interested in their services anymore if that is the case.  They won’t know if you are still interested unless you tell them!

Good luck, and we hope that these tips will help to make the planning process a little easier for your special day!
