Wenning's Wedding Tip Wednesday
Custom cocktails and desserts are one trend that will continue to explode in the coming months. What better way to put your own personal touch on your wedding, for your guests to enjoy, than creating a custom cocktail or dessert?
Brides and grooms are continuously looking for unique and creative ways to custom their weddings. There are many ways to accomplish this; however, as we look at Wedding Trends for 2020, one thing is certain, customization is not going away.
It is time to say goodbye to cranberry vodka, house wine and domestic beer since brides and grooms are now choosing custom made options for their reception.
A custom cocktail can consist of a locally sourced spirit, while incorporating familiar mixers, combined for one tasty libation. Not a fan of alcoholic beverages? That’s fine too; however, consider a custom mocktail, instead. Which is becoming a growing trend for people who would rather forgo serving alcohol. Keep in mind not everyone needs to drink to have a good time; however, people still like a refreshing beverage to sip.
In addition to custom beverages, brides and grooms are also creating custom desserts. Consider working with a local bakery to design a yummy treat for all to enjoy.
Remember it is your big day and you should find as many ways to make it your own. Guests will enjoy the effort you put in to the details. The good news is, there is no right or wrong answer, when it comes to personal touches. Do whatever feels right to you and your spouse-to-be. This is your time to shine and show your family and friends what makes you unique as a couple.
