Wenning’s Wedding Tip Wednesday

The quarantine may be over for some of us, but there is still a lot that needs to be done before getting back to normal.

Use the following tips to help guide you and your partner and ensure you won’t be missing out on opportunities for your new wedding date.

1. Scheduling Wedding Events

Currently, guidelines are stating that only small gatherings are permitted, receptions have to be postponed, and venues are even canceled until further notice. Put to ease some of those worries you may be facing and assist in rescheduling those wedding events to still give that traditional feel to them! Get in contact with vendors. Make it is sooner rather than later. Check in with destinations you want to visit for a honeymoon trip so it’s safe to do so. For the time being, Zoom is one of the best tips to host a pre-wedding party celebration with friends and family.

2. Waiting Can Have More Meaning

Give your guests a memory that will last a lifetime! Don’t think because of the pandemic that your dream wedding is ruined. Waiting can mean having that moment to celebrate with a large gathering of your closest friends and family. Remember that there are still ways, and opportunities to have that wedding you always wanted since you were a kid. If you have your dress, or tuxedo staying locked in your closet, that’s okay! Soon enough that beautiful dress and sharp cut tuxedo will be yours to wear walking down the aisle. Until then, stay safe and everything will fall into place!

3. Schedule Accordingly

Right now, you may be experiencing troubled times since you’re not able to plan your party, ceremony, or reception. However, a lot can still be done in order to make your dream wedding come true. Use this time in quarantine to plan your wedding that will fit your needs accordingly. If you plan on finding a new wedding date, make that decision months in advance. Don’t hesitate!

4. Make Sure Vendors Are Available

Of all the tips, this is most important. Make sure you are constantly checking in with vendors and seeing if dates you wish to book don’t line up with dates of other weddings. Set up virtual meetings or talk on the phone. Whatever is easiest for you! Competition will rise during this time; other brides and grooms are now competing for rescheduling dates, so call your vendors today to re-plan your special day!
